Temple Quarter

The Temple Quarter development now represents the gravitational centre of the city’s office market - it is already a major hub for government departments and agencies.

Visit www.wearetemplequarter.co.uk to see video footage of Burges Salmon’s new Temple Quarter HQ building at One Glass Wharf and an interview with managing partner Peter Morris. The video also includes interviews with Tony Kerr a director at Ove Arup & Partners who are located on the edge of Temple Quarter and Dick Penny, MD of Watershed and Chair of both the Bristol Partnership and the Bristol Old Vic.

Temple Quarter offers occupiers a range of BREEAM “excellent” buildings and unrivalled transport links to London and the rest of the UK via the adjacent Temple Meads mainline railway station. This means staff can reach London by train in approximately 1 hour 40 minutes.

Bristol City Council is working closely with developers and partners, as well as the Office of Government Commerce, to advise government departments and agencies on the potential that exists for relocating to BREEAM “Outstanding” or “Excellent” cluster or campus-style office developments in Temple Quarter.

Much of the 240,000 sq metres of new office space for which permission has been granted in the city centre is concentrated at Temple Quay or on nearby sites.
